SanDisk and PNY Technologies announced that they have settled a flash memory patent dispute with a cross-licensing agreement, which will allow PNY to continue to sell USB drives and CompactFlash cards, now as SanDisk licensed products.

The patent disputes were filed last year by SanDisk against PNY in Federal District Court and with the International Trade Commission.

Under the terms of the deal, PNY will pay SanDisk royalties on flash memory products that were not previously licensed. Specific financial terms of the deal will not disclosed. The settlement also assures that PNY's supply of flash memory products will not be disrupted by other SanDisk patent disputes.
