You may have noticed something different about our site. Yes, we’ve updated it with more of just about everything. You’ll find more frequent news updates, more news sources and more multimedia, to name a few things.
In a way, you could say we’re reflecting the broader industry trend toward more openness. Sure, Wireless Week’s site has undergone redesigns in the past. But this time, more than ever, the focus is on interaction and bringing you, the reader, into the discussion. And why shouldn’t we? After all, we’ve been writing about openness in wireless networks, products and services for some time now. It’s high time we got on board in a bigger and better way.
The new site features an article rating and comment section that should be easier to use than the past. By registering and logging in, you can comment on stories and join forums. (Yes, I know the resistance to logging in, but we’ve decided this is the best way to encourage meaningful discussions among industry professionals, and, for that matter, anyone who’s got something to share.)
So, take a moment to look around. As you might expect, we are still working out some kinks, and for that, we must ask for patience. But in the spirit of this new openness, let us know what you think.
