Fujinon, an optical equipment manufacturer based in Japan, has filed a suit against Motorola, alleging several its RAZR handset and other mobile phone models infringe on three of the company's patents. The patents cover components having to do with the phones imagine lens.
The suit also includes Motorola's ROKR, SLVR and PEBL models.
Motorola said it does not comment on pending litigation, but spokesman Chuck Kaiser said, in a statement, "We have reviewed Fujinon's lawsuit and believe this is a matter that involves our supplier relationships and will work to resolve the matter through them."
Fujinon filed the suit in the U.S. District Court in Delaware.
