Airborne Entertainment and NHL Interactive CyberEnterprises announced the release of NHL Clubhouse, a mobile storefront that offers hockey fans NHL-branded ringtones and wallpapers, exclusively on Verizon Wireless. The launch of NHL Clubhouse has been timed to coincide with the start of the new NHL season.

• Lucy Hood, CEO of News Corp.-owned Jamba, has resigned. Lee Fenton, previously a Vodafone content executive and current Jamba COO, has assumed the temporary position of CEO until a replacement is found. Hood had been responsible for re-shaping Jamba following News Corp.'s acquisition of a 51% stake in the business 12 months ago. Hood was instrumental in the launch of the Simpson's content subscription the Yellow Plan this summer. News Corp. says Hood's decision to leave is amicable. Peter Chernin, president and COO at News Corp., said in a statement: "Lucy has been a key architect of News Corp.'s mobile strategy over the past few years and we're grateful for her many contributions to our business."

Alianza, provider of the first hosted, fully-integrated IP-based platform for delivering unified communications applications via SaaS for broadband service providers, announced that Logitel has selected Alianza's IP-based PowerPlatform to power its offering to thousands of customers throughout Mexico. As part of its development strategy, Logitel was recently granted a license by Mexico's telecommunications authorities to provide voice and data services directly to the consumer.

MIPCOM announced the winners of the MIPCOM Mobile & Internet TV Awards 2007. The international trophies were at the 23rd annual MIPCOM in Cannes, France. The winning titles were chosen by an international grand jury. MIPCOM Mobile & Internet TV Awards 2007 received 280 entries from 38 countries.

The Winners of the MIPCOM Mobile TV Awards 2007 are:

1. Best short form audiovisual entertainment made for mobile and/or Internet
comedy: Jeb's Jobs, Weakend Productions, U.K.
2. Best short form audiovisual entertainment made for mobile and/or Internet
drama: Emmerdale Online Channel: Hoodlum, Australia.
3. Best short form audiovisual entertainment made for mobile and/or Internet:
lifestyle/music: History Rocks, A&E Television Networks, USA
4. Best short form audiovisual entertainment made for mobile and/or Internet
factual: The Finer things, Speedy Productions, South Africa
5. Best mobile service for social community & UGC: Vringo, Vringo Inc., Israel.
6. Best made-for-mobile or film channel:
Toei Anime Comic, Toei Animation Co., Japan
7. Best Cross platform & Interactive mobile TV format:
Best Show Ever, MTV Networks International, USA
8. Best short film originally created or repurposed for mobile: King Boxer-
Mobisode Celestial Pictures Ltd., Hong Kong
9. Best film shot on a mobile device: Colorful EU, Kodolanyi Janos University.

Magmic Games and In-Fusio announced a partnership that will make In-Fusio's portfolio of mobile game titles available directly from carriers supporting BlackBerry devices and Bplay, Magmic's BlackBerry entertainment direct-to-consumer portal. Under the terms of the agreement, Magmic acquires the exclusive rights to develop and market interactive mobile games for use on BlackBerry devices from In-Fusio's game catalog.
