USA Mobility OKs Distribution to Shareholders

The USA Mobility Board of Directors unanimously approved a special cash distribution of $3 per share of common stock, an aggregate amount of about $82 million. The distribution will be paid on July 21 to shareholders of record on June 30, 2006.

There's no denying that VoIP is a reality and it will impact wireless as well as landline carriers. Still unresolved is how big an effect VoIP will have and whether it will have a negative or positive impact. A recent survey of 131 large enterprises by the consultancy Deloitte shows that two-thirds of the companies already are using VoIP or have it in active evaluation.
