NetMotion Wireless today debuted mobile analytics and security features for its network management tools.

The Analytics Module, available now, has more than 20 pre-configured and customizable reports and is cost-free for existing NetMotion customers. It can test the network utilization, bandwidth consumption, number of devices connected, reasons for failed connections, status of quarantined devices and battery status, officials said.

It’s also designed to be integrated with existing NetMotion Mobility XE virtual private networks and with the policy module.

On the end-user security front, NetMotion added support for biometrics, public key infrastructure, smart cards and two-factor authentication.
