In related Verizon Wireless news, the operator announced its 10 millionth download of SongID. In the last 18 months ago, the operator said more than 100 million songs have been “requested.”

• Santa Clara, Calif.-based Securematics will market and distribute Meru's wireless networking infrastructure solutions to its base of service provider, system integrator and value-added reseller partners in the United States. Securematics will stock Meru's full line of IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n access points and controllers, and will provide resellers with pre- and post-sales support services including training and demand generation.
