Mformation Technologies and F-Secure announced that they have partnered to implement a complete application lifecycle management solution for the F-Secure Mobile Security application.

Qualcomm announced that the company's Snapdragon platform continues to gain industry traction, with more than 30 device designs in development using Snapdragon chipsets. More than 15 leading device manufacturers are looking to Qualcomm's Snapdragon platform to enable mobile computing devices to deliver on the promise of mobile Internet. The first Snapdragon devices are expected to be launched by customers in the first half of next year.

Local.com said its service will appear on Virgin Mobile USA phones.  “Local Mobile is an ad-supported local mobile site that provides users with easy access to directory services and search results for local businesses, products and services via their mobile internet service,” the company said.

ABI Research said RadioFrame Networks is the top picocell company  “It is the only vendor in the market providing a partly self-configurable, self-manageable solution that looks and feels more like a femtocell,” ABI said.  Competitors ip.access and ZTE are the second- and third-best, ABI said.
