Mobile entertainment specialist Jamba said it’s reorganizing, after News Corp. earlier this month paid $200 million to acquire the 49% of the company it didn’t already own.

Jamba will become part of a new business unit, Fox Mobile Group, which will control global distribution, will license content and will develop new content, the company explained.

Mauro Montanaro, who became the Jamba CEO in January, will oversee the new unit.  “This new organizational model aligns our business strengths to the global market opportunities in mobile content distribution, licensing, and production and facilitates the execution of our business strategy to lead in all three areas,” he said in a statement today.  “We believe these changes will support accelerated growth and extend our global leadership in mobile content licensing, distribution, and production,” he said.

The company also announced a new office opening in Singapore.
